Pepsi – Badal Do Zamana – Thematic [2010]

Pepsi has finally made an excellent comeback with an amazing ad featuring Aisam-ul-Haq (Tennis Star), Mohammad Amir (Young Cricketer) and Call the Band (Xulfi and Junaid). After a couple of years of experimenting with directions this new commercial is bang on target with young stars displaying their determination and how they achieved their current status with jOsh, jAzba and junOOn!

Its a great song by Call which revolves around the idea of hope (Omeed) and determination (junOOn). I personally love Aisam’s serve in the ad, and am quite glad that he is being promoted in Pakistan. Its an amazing achievement that he knocked out Roger Federer in Swiss Indoor Tennis Doubles in November 2009.

    Amir probably because he is one of the youngest stars, who has a few world records already and he is still not corrupt like other cricketers… If a campaign associating with sports, you need to have cricket as one option because its the most popular game in this country.

    Babar… please get me the picture of that DONKEY CART Race.. I have been asking around people.. Or at least more information … I need to look in to it.. :P

    Aisam is the best thing about this ad…I liked the sensory ad and the word play tvcs more though.

    And yeah after a long time Pepsi ads are being talked about in a positive way.
