AIFD Final Year Fashion Students Thesis Display – 2012

Fashion students in Karachi were very excited to set up their final year display thesis last week at Asian Institute of Fashion Design. The students, who have been working on their final year fashion collection, were given an opportunity to set up display spaces according to their themes.

The collection display attracted media and various fashion designers who came to judge and encourage the passing year students for the hard work put in. When asked by one of the final year students, Birjees Waiz who worked on a theme called ‘Garden of Eden,’ of how she felt for getting appreciated for her work, she said:

“I’m very excited to finally stand here today and claim that I achieved what I envisioned for my thesis collection. I always wanted to do something different, and this is a great opportunity for aspiring students like us to get a chance to meet so many people from the industry. I’m extremely grateful for all the guidance that my teachers Mr. Zaheer Abbas and Ms. Mehwish Khoso gave us throughout the year. For me this is just the beginning. ”
