World Wildlife Fund to host fundraiser in Karachi

Imagine walking for miles to get access to safe, clean drinking water? Imagine water not running through taps in your house? Imagine drinking unhygienic unsafe water? Well, there are some people, who face this problem. Do you want to make a change in their lives? Do you want to be part of something BIG? Do you want to make sure that you do your bit for the people around you?

AquaFest is a fundraiser being held by WWF in collaboration with SZABIST, Coca-Cola and DCRC. WWF has been working with Kakapir Village on Hawksbay and assessing their needs.

The main problem in the village is that there is no proper water supply that runs throughout the village. This fundraiser is being held to purchase and install a water desalination plant in the village to filter ocean water into water the people can use.

On site food stalls will include Food Stalls include:
-Seafood by Kakapir Village
-Biryani of the Seas
-Ginsoy
-Pie in the Sky
-Cakery
