Providing convenience to the end consumer has always been at the top of the priority list of today’s marketers. And this is mainly because we as consumers are more likely to try out new products and services that we find convenient. Talking on the lines of convenience, the most recent attempt by the marketing professionals at Telenor is the launch of Telenor Persona Weblounge. The following is a basic description of this new product on the website:

It is one of the premium services offered by Telenor and it is a one-stop solution that gives you a continuous online access to Telenor’s Persona subscription. ”
This service extends from purchasing numbers of your choice and shifting to Telenor through mobile number portability to making online payments, subscribing to add-ons, special offers to value added services. Weblounge is being positioned on the basis of convenience only, and it seems like an interesting initative.
Another interesting part is that Telenor is trying to create a fan base and an online community as they have launched the weblounge portal through which they are trying to attract people to the Telenor Facebook and Twitter accounts to increase their fan base and followership.
