Dancing Babies – Pampers Pakistan
Its time to wrap up all those nappies and make your baby dance for the Pampers Dancing Baby Contest in Pakistan! Pampers has always been a hit brand that got synonymous with the word “diapers” or “nappies,” just like the brand Jeep that got synonymous with SUVs.
One of my friends told me about the Pampers Pakistan website and I got a chance to check it out. The website contains information regarding development, feeding, health and sleep in baby categories depending on various age brackets. The website also contains information on pregnancy and nutrition, which shows an attempt to tie up the brand with “to be” moms. And to my surprise, a “baby name finder” has also been included to attract new parents to the website. I am still trying to understand why Pampers launched a whole “BABY PORTAL” in Pakistan? But, a very bold move and I appreciate this online campaign by the Pampers brand team. The reason that I can see behind this is to tap the new age parents, specifically moms, who are connected to the internet.
Pampers has also launched a dancing baby contest on its baby portal, which is attracting people to upload their dancing baby videos on the website in order to win a whole year’s supply of Pampers.
