Aftar/Dinner by Weblounge – Telenor Connecting With Its Customers

| September 15, 2009 | 4 Comments

ssp-press-ad-27x4-4webAs always, Telenor has taken another great step towards building up its strong relationship with its customers. In the holy month of Ramadan it was Telenor, which invited its Web-Lounge customers to an Aftar-Dinner in Pearl Continental Karachi on Monday the 14th of September 2009. Telenor has always been one of the innovative companies, and this aftar-dinner was held with the main objective of engaging and interacting with its customers directly.

The interesting part is that at one end this event was held for the customers of Weblounge but on the other side of it, a few bloggers from Karachi were also lucky to interact with the team behind Weblounge. Our representatives met the Telenor team as well as discussed the future plans of how Telenor is managing its relationship with its customers. We are also thankful to Mr. Haroon Rashid (Asst. Segment Manager for PostPaid), who assisted us throughout the event explaining us the details and giving us company. Mr Rashid and his team was interacting with the customers in a very friendly manner that in my opinion will definitely help in strengthening the bond of the brand with its customers. A lot of customer queries were handled on the spot and the issues were noted down bringing a more one-to-one feeling for the customers.

I personally believe that this is a great initiative by Telenor when it comes to becoming more personalized and build close connections with the customers, and they have shown it with this event. We were assured that there is still a lot to come and this aftar-dinner will not be the last attempt to keep their customers happy. On the other side of it, Telenor always comes up with plans and ideas to tap the market in a different or a creative manner, and this event was just one glimpse of it. Any comments and suggestions are more then welcome.

Great Evening its always nice to interact with businesses who do want to interact with the customer. The event was very interactive and comfortable.
Companies need to take some bold steps and show a more human side to their customers. When blogging was started it was people voicing their opinions and I feel that now corporates also need to take a page from their book voice their concerns let people know that they arent just profit making machines they employ people and serve them too.
Telenor took a Good initiative and for that I Thank them
